Call but be polite about it. You laptop is prob one of hundreds they've got to fix and ship so they eventually stop caring at all about you. It sucks but there is very little such thing as customer service anymore.
I was actually having to do this with HOSPITALS and DOCTORS offices recently because apparently test results when someone is ill aren't important enough to get back to someone on. >:C
So yeah. Call but be nice. It will get you way farther.

I have a Toshiba and my Sims3 disks don't have any issues. I've been 'hinting' at my sister to get my Ambitions for my grad/b-day gift. She best deliver, because it looks amazing.

IT DOES gyah The whole playing in the jobs aspect makes me happy. I wonder if its just for the new jobs or if some of the old ones let you do that too.

Yup, I've got that same Toshiba, too, and I haven't had any problems running Sims 3. Just a little bit of lag since I've downloaded so much crap, but it's barely noticeable. I've got World Adventures, but I haven't installed it yet. I hear it's kinda crappy, and I'd rather put Ambitions on my hard drive, anyway. Speaking of which, be sure to tell us how it is. I passed on High End Loft, but Ambitions looks pretty awesome.

I got WA (dont have it installed on dads computer, did on moms), and the vacations are fun.....to do once. After that its like well okay now what. But I want the clothes and hairs ;;

Ambitions however yes looks GREAT <3 I will hopefully have it soon
