You should play Second Life! It's absolutely pointless and boring. But if you get a group of friends together and do stuff like run around in theme parks it can actually be pretty fun.

I would give WoW a try!

My laptop runs wow well enough, not with all the settings on max but still enough to make it look alright. If I play the Sims3 on my laptop however it has a bad habit of overheating unless I play with all the graphic settings on low.
So I think WoW should be no problem at all if it plays sims well!

Think WoW has like a 10 days trial thing too: ) Which I would recommend just to see how you like it!
