With everyone off doing other things, it had been Daniel's turn to bring Tosh the essentials. He grabbed lunch, trying to pick things he remembered from his very limited experience with the midwife were good for expecting mothers. Tosh smiled at Daniel. She'd been napping, drifting in and out of sleep, but had spent more time out than in for the past bit. "Daniel. Come in."

She appreciated all of this. The daily trek to the compound was getting a bit much. She'd rather wander to the Hamlet, and only go that far when she needed.

"Afternoon," he said brightly, walking in and placing the packages in front of Tosh. "Food and books and if you need anything else, just let me know and I'll head back. It's nice out there again, so I don't mind the walk."

He'd been happy for the change. The snow had been nice, but he kind of liked the weather as it was.

"Company. That's all." Tosh sat up, swinging her legs off the bed and slowly getting up. "Ooof. That's getting harder."

"You could have asked for help, you know," Daniel teased dryly. "I mean, how long is it before you're due?" He didn't think it was that much longer, but he honestly wasn't entirely sure.
