Thank you. The ending being a bit of a surprise is a good thing, I think. I know something like that can be a little hard to pull off -- but that's kinda how it hit us, too.

I do. My husband was hit especially hard when we found out. You always think your friends are invincible, y'know?

That last line came to me before everything else did. Because really, my husband's best man (Bob) came to our house the night of the funeral before we were dressed. Pointed right at me and said "You should wear a dress." I told him that was already the plan.

Thank you. She passed away last month, so it's all still really fresh to me.
