So I asked talonkarrde88 for a writing prompt, yesterday. First he gave me "Forgotten Earrings." Then he amended it, gave me "The earrings I left behind," instead. THEN he compromised with "Intentionally forgotten earrings." At which point I staked a claim on "The earrings I left behind," because I liked that prompt best. Though this kind of hits on all three,

This write breaks my heart.

At the time that I wrote it, it was really enlightening. I don't think I ever really acknowledged that I didn't want to get married until it was far, far too late. Maybe not until I wrote this piece, I don't remember.

Upon rereading it, it is rather heartbreaking. Sigh.
