Cliffton Fanfiction -- Ride (One-shot)
Apparently, it's tradition that I write Cliffton fanfiction after doing NaNo. Who knew? This idea was spawned by a conversation Sarah and I were having this morning about random head-canons, and how Devin, at one point, might have owned a motorcycle. Devin would totally try to claim the noisy dorms were a reason he wanted to move. And Wes would believe Devin would never, ever hide anything from him. *sigh*
Wes's description of Devin taking off his helmet, omg. I'm gonna die for real, because it's like a goddamn romance novel cover or some shit. And of course the motorcycle is a "gift." From a "friend." Mhmmmmmmm.
The ride part is fucking adorable. You write them so well! I'm pretty sure Devin secretly wanted Wes to jump him afterward. Too bad Wes didn't realize it.

xD That's why I needed to write this whole thing, was that damn image. I couldn't get it out of my head. And yes. A "gift." Mhm.
Yay! And it's hard writing them at this age, for me. Because Devin's not quiiiiite as into all of the touchy stuff Wes does and doesn't reciprocate as much and it's hard to toe the line, here, with him. Pretty sure Devin wanted him to jump him, too. Cheesy, "Why don't you ride me instead?" line and everything. xD Poor Wes. He missed the Signal.

That helmet-removal scene was totally a romance novel cover, which makes perfect sense because it was from Wes' POV, and Wes watches a lot of chick vids, lol.
Yeah, I, too, think Devin wanted Wes to jump him. Oops, missed opportunity!
