So my NaNo project? Completely rewriting the Tomorrow Trilogy so that it's no longer a trilogy and mostly focuses on Jazz and Savin's story, in a tighter, more abridged sense. I do quite like Savin and Mari as friends. They've always made better friends to me than lovers or anything else. Mari's gaydar with Jazz and Shipper on Deck type behavior amused me -- lol that text message.

Jazz was adorably obvious in his interest in Savin, too. Am I correct in thinking he declined to tell Savin his last name because he didn't want to give any clues as to his heritage?

Yeah, their friendship has always been way more fun for me to write, too. It suits them, being bffs. Obviously, there WAS a romantic past with them, but I don't think it lasted very long. xD And yes, her shipper on deck moment was pretty fricken awesome. She knew Savin needed to get laid and that he needed a night to get out of his head, and she knew exactly how to achieve both... lolol

Jazz knows that with guys it's best to be obvious with your interest, lol. And you are absolutely, 100% correct, there. Being the Prince of one's Empire, you quickly learn to refrain from using your full/real name.
