So lots of things are about to change as I overhaul the whole plot of the Tomorrow Trilogy. Some of the major things are remaining the same, but I felt like writing this scene because for whatever reason it was speaking to me. Enjoy.“It’s not worth it, Savin,” Mari whispered, withdrawing her hand from the box. Tears streamed down her face, her lips ( Read more... )

Okay, I'm glad I decided to come over here for a minute because it is totally wrong that I never commented on this piece. I'm really glad you're exploring more of how things went down with Danni.

I can't really blame Savin for feeling differently toward Mari after this. Mari basically bullied him into letting their child die. Maybe it was for the best and maybe it wasn't, but I can see where he felt like he didn't get a say. Although I can also see how he'd feel really guilty later, because he let her make the decision without fighting more for what he wanted. And I'm not sure he even had enough to be sure what that was.

Poor bb.

Yeah, having the whole Danni bit now feels a little better, in my mind, with how the context of the world changed, too. So exploring it more felt right.

She kinda did. And poor Savin still doesn't fully know what he wants in terms of being a parent but he did want to try and keep her alive, because he loves their baby. But I think in the end, it was probably for the best. It just sucked that he didn't know how to fight against Mari a little more. =/
