You wrote this beautifully!! I started to sweat along with Chase.

I was playing a video game once with Bill where we got stuck in a basement room with a doctor who was about to cut us up and this brought all those memories of the tension in my stomach while we tried to get away.

I knew I was taking a risk with this piece -- I generally don't go into too much description with the gorey stuff (I'm much more a "less is more" person for this kind of thing). But I knew that with the uh, loving tone the narrator was using, it would just add to the potential creepiness factor and heighten everything else.

I'm glad that you at least tried to read, even if you couldn't make it through. :)

It's great to take risks, and you deserve all the votes in the world for doing that -- even if it went against my sensibilities. It's not your fault that I can't handle blood and guts anymore.
