Do I detect the feeling that season 3 just aint up to the standard of seasons 1 and 2? Perhaps he wants out before it goes down the pan. :( I really hope not, I think he's done a really good job revitalising the role from the stereotypical 'fat man with orange beard and codpiece.'

Maybe if season 3 is successful then the dollars will tempt him to continue the role :)

That's sad, but after that whole nearly dying thing at the joust while he was married to Anne, that's when he starts getting heavy and suffering from his other chronic maladies. I often wondered if they were going to have JRM put on a fat suit or something as the season progressed, but now I know they will probably hire someone else if they continue on.

This sucks!!! I REALLY wanted to see them go ahead with Katherine Howard. JRM...you're kind of an asshole right now for doing this to us.

I'm not bothered to be honest.

I'm not sure how long they can continue the show for and I think he was always miscast in the role anyway. His acting most of the time is downright hammy.
