ACTIVITY CHECK | NOVEMBER 2011
Hello and welcome to The Oregon Trail's first Activity Check! This check will cover the month of November, from November 4th until November 30th. Characters who were accepted any time after November 15th are exempt from this activity check. Players are welcome to provide activity check links for themselves as well as other players.
The requirements for activity are as follows:
TWO (2) of these FOUR (4) requirements must be met within the span of ONE MONTH.
A) One post in the main community OR;
B) One comment thread a minimum of 5 comments long, where those five comments are comments left by your character OR;
For example, a thread of ten comments between two characters back and forth would have roughly five comments from your own character within it. That would make the requirement. This does not have to be on the same post, and can be on another character's entry.
C) One post in the logs community OR;
(This can be a log comment posted inside of an open log, or it can be its own standalone log post.)
D) One reply to a log thread by your character at minimum.
For example, if you post a log post in the logs community and someone responds to your log comment, you must respond to that other player's comment a minimum of once in order for it to count for activity.
You can combine these four options at your choosing. Activity will be met with a combination of two of them out of the four; for example: A+C, B+D, A+B, etc.
How this works:
We ask that you provide, in a comment to this entry, links to qualifying posts, logs or threads that we will verify. This AC post will be open from December 4th, 2011 until 11:59pm EST on December 11th, 2011. During this time, players will be able to make posts to make up for activity if they'd like to remain in the game.
If you are making up for activity during this AC week, please leave a comment on this post telling us that you will be making up for activity during this week instead and you will provide links before the closing time and date!
Players with characters who do not make activity by 11:59pm EST on December 11th, 2011 will have that character automatically dropped from the game, and they will be free to re-apply for them after a minimum of one more week if they so desire.
Characters who have not made activity nearing the end of the Activity Check week will be listed in a post on December 10th and will have one final day to let us know if there has been a mistake!
