Fuck the people who don't think it's going to work. If you put hard work into it and you're dedicated 100% then it'll go through one way or another. There's a couple of people opposed with the business I'm setting up.. they don't think it'll be succesful and we will have wasted a thousand bucks. Call me an eternal optimist, but I'm driven, damnit. . and we're going to make a profit one way or another. Woo.
Sup Will. This is probably one of the better ideas we've had this year. I have much faith in it, so you can count on me. Not sure about the other guys though, but worry not. We can do this. We WILL do this. Hehe, I made a funny. Get it? We WILL do this!!! Hah hah hah WILL!...
Sorry to break it to you but running a record label is hard work. Sure money plays a huge factor, but it also takes lots of time. Back when i was a freshman a friend and i started a label, Idle Records. We winded up releasing a comp. with standstill, frojax, and a couple other bands that i cant remember. After i left they went on to release cd's from "the watergate conspiracy" "tyranny of shaw" and a couple other bands. After all that hard work Idle records was through, it takes a toll on you. One piece of advice, trust the people that you're doing this with. Another piece of advice, don't work with assholes, but you seem to have that down already. If you really want to start getting your name out there you should through some shows, the better they are the better for your label. Good luck, who know's maybe you'll be more successful then you imagine.

I totally agree with you on everything there.
And, yes, I'm willing to put as much work/effort/money into this as possible, to make it work.
