Well, this was special.

He sighed as he walked down the halls, still holding onto the soccer ball that had appeared beside him. Really, if they were going to dress them up in costumes, they could have at least chosen better ones. he didn't even know what was with the soccer uniform he had found himself in, and he couldn't even find the dragonband for his head anywhere. He needed to, however, find a way out of this place, and so the best way to do that was figure out where exactly they're supposed to go for these so-called riddles. It wasn't exactly an easy feat considering what kind of place this Tower was.

He wondered if there was at least someone else here he could communicate with. Maybe they could solve something that way.

Justin is seen excitedly running down the hall, his blue overalls replaced with janitorial clothing, while holding a broom in his hand where his sword usually would be. His curiosity immediately took the best of him, and he wasted no time exploring the surroundings.

...Until he nearly bumped into the man who was wandering the halls in front of him.

"Yikes!" This was a surprise, bumping into someone finally. "Sorry! I got a little excited there. Are you Kanda?"

It was the only name he knew.

And if Justin had been paying any attention at all, he would have realised that his younger friend had stopped following on behind him, and not even unannouced. Sue had found a bulletin board while they had been exploring the changed setting that had come about while they searched about. There had been no doubt there was more to it than that, however, with the shift in their clothing. From that pink and puffy dress, Sue had now been walking - or running, thanks to Justin - in a strange red jacket, blouse, and a plaited skirt that came down to her knees; even her bloomers had been replaced with white cotton tights.

"Juuustin!" She called out from where she stood, wanting to examine with him the notice board, but who knew if that boy would come?

Sialeeds had never been one for academics. Sure, there were subjects that she couldn't get out of studying (no thanks to sharp governess' eyes), but otherwise, escaping through an open window when backs were turned had been a golden skill, honed through years and years of experience.

Not that this was of any use now. The doors didn't work despite numerous attempts to open (inclusive of kicking, hurling of wind spells, snarled sarcasm under her breath), and the piles of books arranged neatly on the rows of desks down the huge room gave her shivers.

"Ugh," she muttered, plucking irritatedly at the long white labcoat that her clothes had been replaced with. "No rest for the wicked, huh..."

Having never been to any sort of school before, Luc was at a loss as to the school uniform. And the school itself. Really, what sort of place was this? He wandered into one of the rooms, curious as to what lay inside.

Oh look, it's...who was she again? He'd forgotten her name. Oh well. He stepped a little farther in, the door closing behind him, and...the sound of it closing actually sounded a little ominous. Maybe it was just him. He tried to open it, just in case. "...This definitely isn't good."

Company, huh? At least that would make things a little bearable until someone -or something, considering the nature of the one host that they knew- came along to tell them whatever the hell this riddle was supposed to be. Bloody hell.

"You're telling me," she sighed, glancing over at his direction. "The least they could do is tell us what we're supposed to be doing here."

[ As if it weren't enough that this was obviously come kind of challenge, it had to take place in a school. Way to make him miss home just a little more. Not that he missed school itself so much as his friends. ... Well, that's new at least. ]

[ Sitting on a desk alone in a deserted classroom sounds like some kind of sounds like a great set-up for a horror movie, but Yosuke is spinning one of his kunai and trying to figure out what he should be doing. Answer a riddle? This wasn't going to be good, was it? ]

**Enter one of the strangest things you'll ever see. Body of an eyeball, a completely black-and-white creature enters... WEARING A CHEF HAT! (awesome, right?)** Of course, his very Kamina-esque mask.

Yet another cage... This grows increasingly tireso- **Wait... the hell is that? On the huge wooden box!**

You! You are one of the gods from the magic box!

[ Yosuke nearly topples over the desk backwards. ]

Oh God. [ :| It's you. ]

[ And finally after regaining his composure. ] What're you talking about?

Kanda hadn't wasted any time when he opened his eyes to find himself in the middle of a hallway alone. He'd seen the bulletin board, read the note, and headed down the empty corridor to the door on the farthest end--he figured he'd start there and work his way back ( ... )

As Allen had found himself in yet another unfamiliar hallway it really was becoming apparent that all the stories he had heard from the other residents were turning out to be accurate. He was still convinced that the place was nothing to do with the Ark though and that just made him scowl: it reminded him of how much of an idiot Kanda was being. Their experiences with one another since arriving in the strange tower had not been some of the best by any means, but Allen forced himself to remember that almost all his encounters with Kanda boiled down to be negative ones ( ... )

The door had barely closed behind Kanda when he heard the latch lick open again. He had been standing in the semi-darkness of the room, trying to give his eyes a chance to adjust so that he could try to find some sort of a switch to turn the lights on.

And then he was being run into by who ever was coming through the--

"Oi, Moyashi, if you're going to go falling down in the dark do it by your damn self!"

He glared down at the younger boy, able to see his white hair and pale skin easily in the dim light. The overalls, however, he couldn't quite appreciate for the time being, and he only gave an irritated "Tch" at the question about his clothes, not least of all because he didn't have the faintest clue what he was wearing and had absolutely no intention of admitting that to Allen.

Instead, he turned back towards the room, drew his sword, and ran his fingers down the back of the blade, activating it so that it glowed with a pale radiance that illuminated at least a few meters' radius around them.
