The Mariners need to bring back Ken Griffey Jr. Seriously, they traded away everyone with any name recognition that people can get behind (besides Ichiro and Felix Hernandez). WE NEED GRIFFEY, THE FANBASE WILL GET BEHIND HIM.

Also it's Ken Griffey Jr. He is this franchise. If the Mariners are smart (which is debatable) they'll do it. *crosses

YES THEY SHOULD. If no other reason, only to make themselves a buttload of money.

I liked the idea of him retiring here, after making his start here too. Starting a Mariner, finishing a Mariner.

I'd go see him play. He was my favorite when I was like, 8. Haha. Probably just cause he was the most talked about.

Yes! It's a smart financial decision and especially since they're in a rebuilding year, it would be good for them to have some star power.

And he has to retire as a Mariner. I went to his first game back in Seattle when he was with the Reds and it was so great and emotional. The city just loves him.
