Alli pulls up on things. She is cruising. No joke. 6 months, 2 weeks and 3 days old. I had to go buy her some Robeez today because she can't be in footie pajamas and barefoot forever. my sister walked at 8 months.....

but Desmond started doing this around 7 months and I thought he was going to walk but he didn't until 14 months, so who knows?

and the pics are adorable!

ben walked at 14 months but didn't crawl until 8 months and didn't pull up until 10-11ish months.

Well, it looks like Alli's development continues to track similarly to Natalie's, and I can tell you that despite early efforts in cruising (she was doing the pulling off one hand thing right about the same age, looking for all the world like she was methodically strengthening the muscles needed to walk!) she made it to 8 months without walking. ;) She's even left off the cruising in favor of practicing getting back *down* after she pulls up! :D

Thank you for keeping the bathtub photo rated G! Seriously. I've been in major distress on Facebook because of friends who post full-frontal nude photos of their kids, not just babies but kids as old as 7. I'm so glad you don't do that!

oh dear, frontal on a 7-year-old is not appropriate. on an infant, i don't have a problem with other people doing it, but i wouldn't do it for my own kids. not on the internet for sure! i even remembered that you were sensitive about this, so i didn't include the one where you can see her bottom ...

Your children will thank you in years ahead for protecting their privacy for them in this part of their life! It's a dangerous world, and when my friends post genital-exposed photos of their children, all I can think of is how little control they have over where those photos end up. I'm glad you're not taking that risk! :-)
