I finished my first friends-cut ... it was weird. I've always waited for people to unfriend me first, or done one person at a time as the situation came up. Other than a few really, really dead journals (that I know aren't coming back), I've never had the nerve to do a friends' cut. I kind of want to, but I guess I should wait a bit longer. I have quite a few new friends and should see how things go with them first.

oh yeah, i'd never cut anyone new!!! it was all people i haven't heard from in ages. and ones who never said much to begin with.

What about friends who are nice and post regularly but you just don't click? I have several of those on my f-list. Maybe I could switch to having a default friends' setting an a non-default friends' setting. I know one of my other friends does that so that people who follow her closely can still read her posts when she's not all that interested in theirs.
