Time to relax - breathe in, breathe out

One of my favorite gifts, both to give and receive is girlie bath stuff. You can never have too much, it sends a great message (relax and take some time for yourself, you deserve it!) its something a lot of people don't think to buy for themselves and it's not too expensive. it's been a looooong time, but one year my mom and i made bath salts for x-mas gifts. we used some epsom salts and some other salt and some essential oils and put them in pretty jars my mom had collected and then decorated the jars with lace over the lids and pretty stickers and such. it was really fun and they made for a nice smelling soothing bath!

did people like them? was it easy? was it cost effective? i don't know if you clicked the link to this site, but i encourage it. i am seriously considering doing this for the holidays this year. the prices are AMAZING. makes me wonder if there's something else I need that I'm not thinking of in order to do this.

I believe people liked them (if they didn't, they were nice enough to keep it to themselves). My mom bought everything, she is VERY thrifty, so I am sure it was not expensive at all. I know I would love to receive soemthing home made like that!! :D
