Nothing and everything

When I'm sitting at home, I always think of like 900 things I want to write about. But then I can't really decide what to pick. So either I choose something and feel I've neglected all the other things, or I write a lame bullet list and feel that a bunch of important stuff got skipped ( Read more... )

I love being rolfed. Probably the most random thing I could possibly grab out of your post, but that's what I have to say. That and Happy Anniversary.

really? stephen says (i think he just learned this in school, hasn't actually experienced it) that rolfing is a really really intense treatment - practically abuse ...

It is *really* intense, but it also really works and in a painful way, it feels really good. I had a headache for 3 months straight (I used to get them all the time, but this one just never went away) and I went to get a massage to help me relax. Well, the massage therapist was also, coincidentally a rolfer (at the time, I had never heard of it) and she worked on me like crazy. I ended up going back once a week and then once a month, and then I got pregnant and she didn't have what she needed to work on pregnant ladies. Now she's not practicing anymore. :-(

Anyway, my dad is good friends with a rolfer and while I was pregnant he paid for me to go to her - but I couldn't keep it up because she's an hour away - so it's 1 hour drive there, 1 hour of rolfing, 1 hour drive home ... and she only works during business hours. Well, she treated him for a ciatic nerve problem that he'd been dealing with for years.

It is really painful, but I really believe it works and I have recommended it to many people.

awwwwwwww! that kitty is synergy, and she's long passed away. but she was my one true kitty love and i'm very glad to hear that she's given rosemary some joy ...

(for some reason, i don't think of babies and lj together in my head because i don't have a computer at home i guess ... and anytime ben gets near one he just bangs the keyboard and says "push buttons!!!")

Yes, it's not easy to do computer stuff at home ... and really, I generally don't check lj when I'm home. Just once in awhile to see pictures people have posted ...
