Haha Wills did the same thing. He loooved bright yellow and it was the worst color on him. But he picked out this hideous bright yellow elmo shirt and insisted on wearing it constantly.

hey, happy birthday!

did he get over it? i'm dying here. its the most atrocious color ever! i mean, sure on the list of our troubles, its far below biting, trying to climb out the window and staying up until 9:45 p.m., but still ... ORANGE?!?!?! :shudders:

Haha he did get over it eventually. He loved that shirt until it wore out, but he was willing to pick other colors than yellow. It helped when he got a little older and I could show him how blues and greens made his eyes so pretty.

kewl. i love that my son says "pretty!" when he sees something shiny. yesterday he wanted the scrunchy out of my hair. "PRETTY!!!!"

wait till he figures out that HE is pretty. then we're all in trouble. ;-)

Awwww...that's funny! My oldest, Jaden, has decided to dress himself and loves to put on a pair of green camo pajama bottoms with whatever shirt he has on and his navy crocs, and it kills me because I can't stand non-matching clothes.

I did pretty good with the guessing on the quiz, huh? ;)

Eh, lucky guesses! I don't specifically remember you mentioning those things since were friended. That quiz is a really good way of telling who reads your journal!

not all of it is necessarily even in here ... some of it you'd have to know us in person. but it was meant to be hard, ya know? ;-)

the older stuff was easily researchable by browsing entries from when he was born ... but the newer stuff is mostly things that have been mentioned at least once or twice.

I love this Mama Talk.
But really, orange isn't that bad. Certainly not worthy of shudders :-) At least he's not in love with that mustard color that looks like baby poop. Now that would be shudder worthy.
