Same here, but I'm pretty sure I will keep watching just to see what happens ... even though there's no way it can't be depressing. But the show has surpised me before (big time).

i have yet to finish the last season, but it's out on dvd soon!

have to check to see if the opening sequence has ever won an emmy. this, along with that of "lost," are among the best at conveying the essence of the show.

Thank you for providing such huge chunks of your offerings to sample before a purchase. It's why I recently ordered "Eating the Dinosaur," by Chuck Klosterman.

The preview for "Dexter: Investigating Cutting Edge Television" provides an answer to a question I posed online a week ago, supporting the idea this book is well-put-together and worth my time. The opening credits sequence for "Dexter" won an Emmy in 2007 (page 21 of the introduction). How cool is that?
