Spotting the bakery, she glanced left and right and crossed the street. As she was pushing the door to step inside, Haruhi came to the sudden realization that she had no idea what this girl looked like. She sighed and simply decided that they would run into each other sooner or later. The bakery wasn’t that big after all.
So with a short look over her clothes, Haruhi walked inside, hoping that jeans and a blue, short-sleeved shirt were alright attire.

Stepping back to the main doorway, Linali raised a hand and tapped the brown-haired girl on the shoulder. "Are you Haruhi?" she asked, her other hand sliding down the shouldstrap.

They had found each other faster than she had expected, and she had to admit that Linali looked interesting. Perhaps this was someone who could be a friend? It made her wish for a brief moment that they were on the same ship.

Courtesy first! Shopping can wait a few minutes, right? Haruhi seemed to be a simple yet intersting person. Her hair was short and looked almost like a boy's cut. Linali raised a brow, pursing her lips to one side as she pondered how long it would take for her hair to get that long.

Turning her attention back to Linali, she clasped her hands behind her back, an action made slightly awkward by the notepad and pen. "How's yours?" She was intrigued by the other girl's hair, and she wondered what the story behind that was. It wasn't often she came across a girl that had her hair that short.

She kept her smile, slightly grinning as she noticed Haruhi intently scan the store. "The garlic bread here is really good. Would you like some?" Linali pointed to the back of the aisle with a thumb, gesturing with her eyebrows as well. "We can begin shopping with some good food! My treat."

She opened her notepad, scanning the items on the list as Linali spoke about the bakery. "Good food and garlic bread, huh?" she looked up and smiled. "I think the crew will be happy with this." This was a better start than she had been hoping for. She would mostly likely head back to the ship stocked with enough food for her to cook what they asked for.

"Anyway~ come on! They make fresh garlic bread at this hour." Thus, Linali grabbed a tray and plastic prongs that were set out by the door and led the Prayer's cook down the aisle.
A while later, they both had a paper slip containing their crispy treats. Linali munched away happily; she liked food, especially when it was absolutely delicious and fresh. She smiled at Haruhi and gestured by raising her bread. "Like it? I hope you do. Well, since we're here, do you have anything you need in terms of wheats and bread?"
((ooc: If you'd like, you can summarize each store they stop by instead of playing out each action. We're a little short on time!))

Before they bid adieu, Linali just had to get Haruhi some of Pancha's ice cream. Miguel had been conveniently parked by the corner as if it had been planned all along. Not knowing what Haruhi might like, Linali picked a typical tricolor ice cream that contained vanilla, lucuma, and strawberry. No chocolate, but that could be settled if the other cook asked. Linali didn't get one herself for she had gotten one before they went shopping. Admittedly, Pancha's ice cream was her guilty pleasure.
She skipped right next to Haruhi, gently passing the napkin-wrapped, chocolate-brimmed cone. Linali grinned, delighted as a child. "Here, just a little something I hope you like! And it was no porblem accompanying you, Haruhi. It was my pleasure." Nodding enthusiastically at the older girl's proposition, Linali pulled out a small square notepad and scribbled her contact information. "You can reach me with these. I'm looking forward to hearing from you often, 'kay!"
