The guy said that they were related to jelly fish or something, and that they were in the water but it was okay more like mosquito bites and would go away in 10 minutes... I guess I have super sensitive skin and stuff and basically instead of 10 minutes I got like 3 hours of stinging... It was great. Stupid plancton.

ouch!
i was thinking those weren't part of the plankton until you mentioned they were microscopic. this is just me being science-y but i think they're not related to jellyfish at all, completely different phyla. i could start rattling off scientific names now, but i'll spare everyone my nerdiness.

That is just what the activities director said, he's probably wrong you're probably right because I have never heard of that either.. I thought they'd be closer to shrimp or something, just because that is what they look like to me hahaha. It kind of stung, not evn close to a jellyfish sting but maybe a baby jellyfish sting. That makes no sense!!

no, placton, as in what whales and fish eat.

I could totally add a Friends-Joey-Monica-jellyfish reference in here..

I am happy that I was right because it did sting a bit and so I took pictures of my lovely plancton attack rash. :D

Atleast now I can say that, yes indeed I have had an encounter with a plancton before.
