I think you captured a very important aspect in Jack and Ianto's relationship: Jack is seen as the unstable and spontaneous, but Ianto is quite reliable.

Oh, I love how fucked up they both are in this! You don't shy away from some of the potentially disturbing aspects of their relationship, yet you portray such a strong connection between them too. This fic was very unsettling, and I mean that as a compliment.
