So much to say, so little time:

1. Yay, Congress! (you don't hear that very often from me.) House votes to condemn escalation, 246-182, with 17 Republicans defecting.

My first thought when I read Tim Hardaway's comment yesterday was, "Well, at least he admitted he was a homophobe."

That was kind of my reaction, too -- I'm actually glad he said it outright and didn't couch it in religiosity or anything. But mostly, I'm incredibly proud of David Stern/the NBA for dumping Hardaway's ass from appearances on behalf of the NBA. And the press coverage I saw was pretty disapproving.

It's honestly quite a long way from 10 years ago. IIRC, Ellen's coming out was 1996.
