I am ridiculously exhausted for someone who spent the last three days lying about, surrounded by boxes of tissues and vials of cold medicine. What's sad is that I'm still sick and coughing and hacking and occasionally stuffed up, and people are like, "Oh, my God, are you okay?" and I'm all, "Are you kidding? I feel awesome compared to two days ( Read more... )

Thanks, I hope so, too. This is the worst cold I've had in years. Ugh. Sorry to hear you had the same thing, but very glad to hear that it does, eventually, go the hell away. :)

I called yesterday to try to get seen by my newly selected 'primary care physician' or whatever, only to find out that no one would see me until after I've had a physical. Which, by the way, they're already scheduling out to February and March. WTF?

The same thing happened to a friend of mine. They switched insurance because he lost his job and then he got sick before he had a chance to pick a primary care doctor. He couldn't make an appointment with anyone when he was sick unless he'd had a well-visit first. His only choice was to go to the emergency room. Dumbest thing I ever heard.

I'm glad you're feeling somewhat better. I hope you have a happy holiday.

Annoying doctor/insurance story: last January I joined an eye-care plan with my health-care people. Great, right? So in mid-February, I go for my yearly check up, and guess what? Six weeks later, UT still had not registered me for the plan. They had, however, been taking payments out of my paycheck. ANNOYED.

I hope you start feeling better. My two weeks of antibiotics have left me STILL with a cough, and the sniffles. Awesome.

I keep meaning to tell you that Small Anne has been wearing her sweater quite a bit; it's the perfect thing for the weather we've been having. And I swear that every time she wears it in public, we get AT LEAST two random people telling us how much they love it and asking us where we got it. Ha ha, neener neener, it's homemade, you can't have one! :p

Just wanted you to know how lucky we feel to have it.

Awww, yay! That's so great -- I'm so glad it fits her and that it fits during the cooler weather. (Because, y'know, sweaters + humidity & heat = awful!) ::g::

If you happen to get a picture when she's wearing it sometime, that would be the best present in the history of ever! :)
