Not only did they blindside the Repubs, but they actually won the skirmish, forcing a compromise panel to report on the "progress" of the prewar intelligence probe. ::blink:: I'm a little amazed.

Also, man was cspan fun today. I missed the end of it cause I was in class but.. damn.. I feel like I've been waiting for this to happen for aaaaaaages. Lets hope we can keep it up.

I refuse to watch the news coverage of this, because it will make me puke. But, I hope someone somewhere points out that if your party is the minority party, it's pretty freakin' impossible to hijack the Senate. How many Republicans were missing yesterday for them to not have a majority vote to end the closed session? I'm sure some of them were on governmental business, but I'll bet some were just playing hooky.
