Pre-flight checks were done, he'd logged his course with the charter company. Riddick was making a last, slightly paranoid walk-around when his passenger came in. He gave the young woman a long, measuring glance, eyes hidden by his welder's goggles.

"Riddick's fine," he said simply. "You're Shiori."

Been a long time since he'd done work and been paid for it. He'd spent a solid quarter of his life in or between prisons. But he landed on his feet, wherever he went, and this piloting job was just fine by him.

Shiori shrank under Riddick's gaze, more due to the fact that she wouldn't be able to help him with his situation down there than being generally uncomfortable being looked at. "Riddick. Sorry. Yes, I am Shiori."

She took a deep breath, preparing herself. It was now or never. You could just run. He probably wouldn't chase you.

"I am sorry, Riddick, but I cannot remove the...b-bikini." She shifted her weight, crossing her arms over her own uncomfortable chest. "I tried many things, and did very extensive research into how these were put on us, but I could not find anything." Now came the hard part. "Still, I need to go to Telos to help everyone. Also, there is someone who must come with me. I will take on the debt."

He looked at her, face emotionless, for a long moment.

"...Fine," he concluded with a sigh. "I'll start you up a tab."

Her and everyone else, it was looking like. Good thing that the recent blockade meant that the company he was leasing from wasn't exactly expecting big business, but how he was going to keep fuel in the tanks he didn't know.

"Riddick, I..." Was this a good idea? She knew it wasn't. But it was the right thing to do. She was putting him out a lot of money.

"I can help, work off my debt to you. Mine and my friend Sydney's." She looked away for a moment, trying to find the right words. What had she told Catty? "I can read objects. Their memories, their sensory memories. What has been done with them, where they have been put, who has touched them, what that person was feeling...ah. I can also cook."
