submersible transport ride

[ the subs themselves are relatively tiny, but the bonus is that they only require a crew of one to operate, so the waiting and seating area of the ship are separate from the cockpit entirely and is more or less set up like a first class airplane cabin. get cozy and chatt, it's a long ride. ]

[Spike sprawls in his seat, idly watching the fish go by through the transparasteel window. He has decided for certain now. He likes spaceships better than submarines. But this isn't so bad. Nice view.]

[Dean is staring down a machine in the lobby, trying to figure out how it works. He keeps trying to slide his credit chip over it like a credit card swiper but nothing]

What's a guy gotta do to rattle out some snack food around here?

[Andrew just happens to be walking by, sans camera finally, thank God. He stops, realizing this is a perfect opportunity to show Dean up, backtracks, and sneaks up behind Dean UNDER THE COVER OF DARKNESS... Or because he's a tiny nerd that makes little noise. Either way.]

It's good to know our captain is easily bested by a vending machine.

[It's been a fun few days, but now it's time to go look at those famous underwater bars we've heard so much about. (Look, I assume they exist, everyone likes booze, right?) So tonight, Spike and whoever feels like coming with are getting hammered. Should be fun!]

[Lies, you just want the booze. Spike glances over at him, quirks an eyebrow, and shrugs.]

Fine by me. Fascinating as the constant discussion of whether or not I should live tends to be, it is rather one note.

[In the lobby of the Mon Cal music hall, Dean is pulling on his cuff links and looking annoyed as hell at his life and times. And staring at the playbill in horror.]

Squid Lake? [His eyebrows climb off his forehead and he turns around to face the others, looking disgusted and horrified] Yeah, ok, I'm out. [He just walks right through the middle of the group, in the direction of the door]

[And Anakin's going to cut him off and jab his finger into his chest.]

You're sitting through that damn thing if I have to hold you down myself.

[He leans in and speaks in a hushed tone and gestures at his own clothing... which involves a pastel purple shirt and tie. Thanks, Blair.]

At least you don't have to walk around in this thing.
