Kurt was excited at the thought of having tea. The only thing that was semi-decent happened to be the alcohol, but Rose spoke of proper tea! He'd left his room and made his way to complex E where Rose was staying and found the door to her residence. It would have been quicker to jaunt, but that would have left a stronger smell of sulphur clinging to him and in the hallway. Isn't he so considerate?

Composing himself, he then knocks and waits.

For a second, there's silence, and then the sound of pots and pans falling from someplace very high and clattering all over the ground. There's a bit of yelling, some laughing, and Rose opens the door, covered in flour, beaming.

"Hullo! Come on in, then."

He cringes a little at the sound of things falling, but he hasn't heard anything that sounds too bad. At the sight of Rose though he cracks up a little and turns his head to the side, coughing back his laughter and just smiles. Kurt tilts his head forward slightly before he walks in and gives his thanks for the invitation.

Looking around he bites his bottom lip a little and raises an eyebrow.

"Didn't give you a fright, did I?"

She doesn't look particularly bothered by his laughter- or lack thereof- mostly, she's just grinning, and ruffling the flour out of her hair.

"Nope! Burnt myself on a muffin pan."

She shuts the door behind her and heads into the kitchen, which is likewise covered in flour. The good news is, there're about six dozen muffins on the table. She tosses one at him.

"They're banana!"

Miku had managed to locate Rose's room and kicked on the door, waiting politely. She was feeling quite cheerful That there was a little event. This would be good way to connect with others more, and Miss Rose did seem like a nice lady.

Rose, herself, decided she needed to get out more. Or, rather, just be more sociable. She spent the first few months running, and now that she'd settled down, she was very much a people person.

She opened the door, covered in flour, looking pleased.

"Come on, then! I've got muffins!" She holds one up to demonstrate.

"They look delicious, I can't wait to try them! I just made biscuits myself. I hope they turned out all right." Miku gave a small boy and held out the tray. Some of the biscuits seemed all right, but some seemed rather suspicious looking. Miku enjoyed trying to bake her favorite food leeks into things and was sometimes oblivious to how bad they turn out.

"Trade you." She held out the muffin, and snatched one of the biscuits off of the plate. One of the normal looking ones, that didn't look possibly leek-made.

For now.

Those leek-biscuits are going to get a nibble in a few minutes, just because she's curious.

How bad could it be? It's a leek.

...Right?

It's late, much later after her original post and plenty of time for the tea to have gotten cold and everyone to have left, and he... doesn't know what he's doing here. He's all spiffied up in fresh tweed clothing and his fabulous bow tie-- don't ask where he got them, he won't give a straight answer-- and he really should be worrying about other things, but seeing Rose on the datapads had really rattled him. He frowns at the door with the large 'E-5' etched into the side.

He's not going inside, that's for certain. Even with this alternate universe acting as a sort of buffer, crossing his own timeline was definitely going to start tearing things apart, on a grand scale. He should know; he'd already crossed that line. Twice, apparently, although he had yet to see what made him desperate enough to do it a second time...

Maybe this had something to do with it.

And maybe it didn't, and he was dooming this entire place-- this fantastical, amazing, impossible place-- to oblivion if he gave into temptation. And he couldn't do that ( ... )

She'd... rather been hoping he would come. People stopped, overlapping, one-offing, for ten minutes or an hour, but never him. She didn't know why, either. Under normal circumstances, she'd probably be wary of him. At least, she had been when her first Doctor regenerated into this new man.

Maybe, since she'd already been through it once before, she understood that he wouldn't be... some stranger. It'd still be him, in all the ways that counted, therefor, that future him was still just a future version of the bloke she was with now.

Made sense. Sort of.

Maybe it was because she had so many questions. She was from a place several years (to her, relatively) beyond the Doctor she was with now. She wasn't used to having more information than him, she wasn't used to him not knowing what to do, how to solve the problem. She needed... guidance. Reassurance ( ... )

He ducks in quietly. He was no burglar, but he could be decently quiet when he tried really, really hard to be.

He wasn't sure what he had been expecting to find-- the rebuilt inside of the TARDIS, maybe, or more security, or both himself and Rose waiting for him with their arms crossed-- but instead it was dark and quiet and... rather normal looking. Not bigger on the inside at all.

He paused in the entryway, glancing around.

Well, actually, this was sort of boring.

Clearly he needed to step inside to get a better look. He did so, casually walking deeper inside as if he wasn't possibly signing his own death sentence. C'mon, past self. He had to have done something cool around here.

The quiet click of the door closing again would've been insignificant, except it was otherwise quiet in the apartment. The other him had done a pretty good job soundproofing.

Anyone who's ever lived alone in an apartment or otherwise large space will tell you, places just feel different when they're occupied by more than one person.

Needless to say, she's freaking out. Her Doctor told her he had a brilliant locking system on the door, and an alarm. She was going to whack him when he got back. Someone was in her apartment.

She pushed off the couch, quietly ducking behind the counter, grabbing up one of the pans from the floor that she hadn't bothered to pick up when Kurt stopped by. The floor squeaked minutely as whoever it was got closer, and she gripped the skillet, waiting for the opportune moment.

Now.

"Oi!" She sprung, holding the pan aloft like a baseball bat.

It had been a while since Jack had a good chat with his lovely Rose. Since their last conversation which got rather awkward, Jack had been mostly avoiding their room. Not because he wanted to, but out of respect for the Doctor who was so clearly uncomfortable around him. The walking, talking Fixed-Point-In-Time will not force his Doctor into accepting him and was pretty sure that nothing except another life or death situation faced by them both would do the trick. And Jack was not eager to repeat many things that happened to him during the Year-That-Never-Was.

He hoped things wouldn't be nearly as awkward today, but he missed his friend and was willing to risk it again.

Sounding the door chime, Jack stood outside and waited patiently for Rose to answer.

She'd noticed the tension between the Time Lord and the Time Agent, and frankly, hadn't been thrilled about it. She'd told the Doctor off about it, and he seemed to feel a bit guilty, but mostly, asked her to leave it and went off to brood. She took that as a sign that everything wasn't as it seemed.

Considering she'd seen Jack get killed and then he'd been very much alive, she thought that might have something to do with it, but couldn't get a straight answer out of the broody, pin-striped twat.

She did love Jack, though, so when she opened the door and saw him, she squeaked in excitement and hugged him.

Jack smiled brightly as his arms were suddenly full of squeaking woman and hugged her tightly back and even lifting her a couple inches off the ground. "How's Rose Tyler today?"

Jack was purposefully not looking into the room. This was about him having tea with Rose. It's not like he needed the Doctor to be around the two of them all the time anyway... he'd made a number of visits to the Powell Estate as he lived through the late twentieth just to see her grow up.

Setting her back on her feet, he raised an eyebrow. "Now where did you find tea in this galaxy?"

She tugged back, beaming at him. "Practically had to sell a kidney, apparently only one planet in this solar system grows anything remotely similar to tea leaves."

She gave him a whack on the arm, and led him in. He wouldn't see the Doctor around. The alien in question was currently off scavenging through spare parts to make... actually, she had no idea what it was he was trying to make, just that he needed at least six fuses and the spring from a Mister Coffee.

"Couldn't dig up any of that sludge you drink, though, sorry."

Amy was finally getting settled in to Corsucant. Many of her questions had been answered, but she still felt out of sorts. How was it they could be stuck here? It hadn't been the Doctor's doing at all. She was glad he had also found his way here if that were the case, but she'd have been much happier exploring the rest of the galaxy with him. She was certain she'd go crazy within month. She'd been stuck on Apalapachia long enough to have a fierce need for traveling again. When she saw Rose's post on the network, she informed Rory that they would be meeting up with her for tea.

She wanted to know more about the Doctor. Perhaps Rose had better luck finding out the information than she had been. With a few sad cookies her credits had afforded her, Amy headed off to meet up with the other companion.

Having been here a little longer, Rory was more at ease with the idea of being stuck here (not forever, obviously. Now they had two Doctors it was only a matter of time until one of them found a way home). However there was something exciting about living in real live Star Wars land.

He had no qualms about going to Rose's for tea. In fact, if Amy hadn't told him they were going, he'd have suggested they go himself.

Rose, for her part, was definitely excited to meet the redhead. Finding out what this new Doctor was like was definitely interested her, as did the people he traveled with Rory seemed brilliant, and from what he'd said about Amy, she was certain they'd get along.

The good news is there was plenty of food to add to Amy's cookie pile. Rose spent the last six hours baking a buttload of banana muffins, and she's actually holding a basketful when she answers the door, mouth full of muffin.

Amy smiled warmly at the blonde. "It's good to see you in person. A spot of English tea is always welcomed. I always had to make sure the TARDIS was stocked up on it." She paused, wondering how much Rory had informed the other woman of. It was awkward meeting up with new people she was mostly sure she'd still have to see in a week.

"You know Rory, then?"
