[Han isn't actually looking at the speedsters. He's just walking. But Asuka's voice catches his attention and he looks up to see what she's so unimpressed by. It's a speeder. Pretty ancient looking, but to be fair, so's everything around here. And honestly, it does look better than any other speeders he's seen around here so far.]

Not compared to the stuff they make in my time, but it's all right for here and now.

[And he looks closer. There's a sign advertising its origins. He smirks.]

Plus. Corellian. That's where the best ships come from. [Also the best pilots. ...aka Han.]

In my time, there's no need for all those unnecessary controls. The skill of the pilot is determined by how well you sync, among other things. [She whirls away from the window and faces Han. Well, attractive older man not talking to her like she's a child. There's a few plusses.]

But I have to take what I can get.

How well you sync? What's that even mean?

[ARE YOU DUMB? Asuka thinks so.]

How backwards can these planets be? You don't even know what a sync ratio is? Hmph. [She inhales and then blows on the glass, fogging it up and then begins to draw a series of patterns illustrating some kind of... Physics bullshit.] The Eva and its pilot are mentally linked- if you can't sync with your Eva, you can't pilot it. It's simple.

[To her, it is, anyway, but she's also been doing tests since she was five.]
