(
In a way it reminded him of the human phrase, crushing two birds with one stone. )
Still, the plan was to lay low, not attract any attention; get to the meeting point, get the information, then leave.
Here's hoping no one thought a space raptor clunking down dark alleys in the middle of Coruscant was anything to remember.]
Keep me updated, [He replied needlessly, working his way down the maze of back alleys. He had the map memorized in his head, but the area itself was still new, and he wasn't sure exactly how long it would take to reach the agreed upon address.] Would be nice if there wasn't some idiot with ( ... )

Garrus pulls his gun up for a moment, trying to track Thane's movements. It's still odd, getting used to not having heatsinks; it threw off his balance of aim, shoot, reload.
It had only been a matter of minutes-- perhaps even less-- but already they had taken out a large chunk of the enemy forces between the two of them. Armed and dangerous as these men were, they were not seasoned soldiers and they were severely outclassed by those they sought to take down.
And as the return fire dimmed, they seemed to be beginning to realize it.
Garrus assesses the situation a moment.] They're clustered near me, and there's another group coming in the south entrance. [Pause, peek through his sniper ( ... )

Understood. [He answers, moving as carefully as he can to another cluster of cargo. He regards the machinery a moment- a few well placed shots would be more than efficient in breaking the supports. He glances at the group coming in, hurrying again to a new cluster of cargo and trying to remain hidden.] Three seconds. [He informs Garrus, easing around the cargo before raising his gun to shoot at the supports.]
[There's a split second before the metal comes crashing down on a good deal of the entering group, the shock of the machinery's sudden fall giving Thane the opening he needed to rush what was left of the group, taking them out without wasting another shot.]

[Garrus slips out of cover for a moment, trading his sniper rifle for his assault rifle instead. Easier for a spread of fire, something constant to keep the enemy entertained as Thane snuck behind them. Garrus manages to plant enough bullets in one's chest to drop him, but the return fire is heavy, and a ricochet snaps fire across his temple before he pulls back.
His new armor was getting quite the workout. He was pretty sure he was bruised underneath in several places, and he works on keeping hot blue blood out of his eye as gunfire hammers the crates he takes cover behind.
Thane's voice comes across the radio, loud and clear. Three seconds. Garrus counts under his breath, and, right on the dot, he hears the crashing thunder and subsequent screaming. In the mess of disarray, he abandons his cover in an all-out sprint to get by the mess of broken equipment and bodies.]

Out of the exit he heads to the side, surveying the area first for more trouble with his gun drawn before looking to Garrus.] We may try to track down the man they used as bait, though it is unlikely any knowledge he has will be of use. [He offers, waiting for Garrus's thoughts on the matter.]

He just shakes his head, blood still riled up, angrier now that there was nothing to shoot at for the moment.] He was just a pawn. We can worry about tracking him down later, but I doubt he knew anything. [He risks a brief glance back at the warehouse as they make their escape, part of him insisting they go back right now and finish the job. He didn't like retreating. It had it's place, but he didn't like it.]

It was clear people were starting to gather to the location. Thane lifts his gun, ready to take care of the new threat if they got too close when his eyes are drawn to the car still hovering slightly. He regards it a moment before looking at Garrus, curious to see if the man was thinking what he was about this particular opportunity.]

[A pause, and Garrus regards the odd-colored blood trailed down the arm Thane isn't favoring.] How's the arm?

It will require minimal aid. [and he looks at that turian blood] Yourself?

[He hefts his sniper rifle, checking the scope, blinking around slightly crusted blood.] One on the left is mine. You can have the right. [A pause, and a slight grin.] Middle one is the tiebreaker.

Garrus laughs, re-aligning his shot, and takes that one down as well. One bullet each, minimal collateral damage. But who was keeping track.] All right, I guess we can call that a draw. [He steps around the corner, heading for the car.] Let's get the hell out of here.

He gets into the car. Off to the sunset, sir. A job well done.]

Well done, sir. Well done.]
