While Coruscant was not strange to the Exile, she still liked to roam the city, feel its energy as it teemed with the energy of trillions of lifeforms, and it was better than a number of other things that she could have done with her time. Namely sit around and meditate, which held no joy that it had previously. Maybe she was too restless. No, there was no maybe about it.

She was simply restless, still pumping with the adrenaline of her time on Malachor V again, her body buzzing with the absence of her companions.

Her lightsaber thumped against her hip as she walked, reminding her of its presence (a comfort, to remind her of who she was and that her time here hadn't been false), lost in her thoughts until she spotted a familiar face along the street. Isolde fell into step with the other woman, despite her smaller stature. "It's a lovely day, isn't it?"

She was hyper aware of the people around her, although none of it showed in her form. Or at least, not until a shorter woman fell into step with her; her adrenaline spiked, body tensing, before the woman spoke and she recognised the voice. Turning her head, Hawke confirmed the face from the magic mirror and offered an easy smile.

"To be honest, I have no idea. By my standards, certainly, but for all I know this could be considered absolutely horrific weather in this place."

Isolde remained calm and casual, a soft smile on her face as she tilted her face up to look at Hawke. "Hm, it's probably easier to let your opinion be based on how you feel rather than what is the norm." She grinned then, clasping her hands behind her back as they continued to walk. "But it is a nice day, by Coruscant standards. We're not even being boggled down by too much smog! Surprisingly enough."

Hawke place her hands on her hips and looked around, squinted slightly. "Well. Nothing's exploding. It could be bucketing with rain, and that would make it a beautiful day." She paused, and then looked around again. "Nothing's exploding yet, at least. Oh, bollocks, I've gone and jinxed it now, haven't I?"

Hawke wasn't the only one in a bad mood.

After she had left their company, Fenris immediately decided to follow. Although he made sure to remain in the shadows and kept a safe distance to give her the privacy she needed. If he was honest to himself, his decision to come after her was probably a mistake. He needed time to think, and process everything that's happened to him, as well as what he learned, and he was certain that Hawke needed to do the same as it was easy to see that she was in as foul a mood as he was. He also wasn't lying when he told her that he knew she could take care of herself.

But in this new environment, filled with all these strange people and without their usual armor or weapons, he was worried. Because mage or not, Hawke was still Hawke, and as long as he's still breathing he would do his damnedest to make sure that no one in this wretched place can harm her.

She let him follow her for about ten minutes, taking increasingly difficult routes with twists and turns as she continued walking - half out of a desire to lose him, half out of curiosity to see what he'd do. Eventually, however, she got tired of the game; between one step and the next he announced to the supposedly empty air--

"You're out of practice."

Obviously he followed her through every route, despite the twists and turns. He made sure to be careful as he stalked her, so it surprised him when it sounded as if she was suddenly addressing him.

He tensed from his position in the dark corner, but otherwise remained silent.

Hawke rolled her eyes, speaking loudly again. "I found an entrance to the place they call the undercity here. Apparently there are gangs there. I was thinking about going in without a weapon and being obnoxious, just to see what happens. You know they have strange bow things that shoot fire here? I never was very good at dodging..."
