I think a band-aid works better than...whatever you just were saying. If they even have those here, I mean.

I can definitely draw suns. [And now she's going to be walking in a big circle around the bike, looking for some paint. She's eager to work when she has the right incentive.]

Sounds like a deal. We'll have to have you go on the smaller circuit for practice a few times, but I can show you the basics of it.

Lucky for me, I'm a fast learner. [And nothing at all can possibly go wrong with putting Claire on something really fast!]

I've crashed a car into a brick wall going sixty before, but nothing like this. I'm just lucky, I guess.

I guess I'll just have to hope I'm still really lucky! [She forces out a laugh, but it sounds pretty awkward.]

When did you learn to ride one of these things?

Me too. I'd hate to think what would happen to the bike. [she smiles to make sure it comes across as a joke]

These? Just learned them after waking up here. But I've been piloting since I could walk.

...your parents just let you pilot when you were a baby?

[She pauses, and realizes she has no way to make this sound not like a girl that had an embarrassing crush on someone.]

What about Anakin?

Not solo, [cringe, bad pun is bad, hopefully it wasn't obvious] but growing up it was expected. My dad humored me a lot.[she sounds a little sad when she says that last part, but quickly shakes it off]

What about him?

The other day he was able to fly without looking in front of us, and he managed to dodge things. Did he learn really young too?

[She caught the sadness at talking about her dad, and just smiled a little.]

You're lucky to have gotten to learn.

But he still was able to do it. So I just assumed you all learned to fly really young, that's all.
