"That's one advantage you have over the rest of us, I guess," Kyp noted idly from his vantage point of leaning up against a wall ahead of the woman. "When you're falling down drunk, at least you don't have so far to fall."

He'd spoken to her over the journals, of course, but that didn't have quite the same effect as actually seeing her in person, being able to reassure himself that yes she was alive and - well, alive - did. He'd felt her die through the Force, the damage to the Jedi temple and countless Sith ships a testament to that, and even though he'd sensed her return, he hadn't quite been ready to believe it until he could confirm it with his own two eyes.

Which was maybe why he'd held off doing so for so long. Just in case he couldn't confirm it.

She knew he was making a short joke, yet her mind couldn't help but take a different connotation to the statement. Maybe total oneness with the Force had finally brought about that hidden sensitive streak. "Green's not that great of a color for you, Master Durron."

It felt...odd. Saying his name. Saying anyone's name. Dying hadn't given her any loquacious points, and her voice was still the slightest bit hoarse from disuse and floating in a kolto tank.

His presence, while irritatingly blatant in the Force as usual, didn't leave the impact that it used to on her. Seeing death, merging with the actual living Force, had made it hard to be impressed by things.

...but his presence held other problems for Jaina.

She sighed, stuffing her hands in the pockets of the slightly too long robes Isolde had given her.

"You know, typically when people see a ghost, there's a lot more stammering."
