Even though he was performing later, he still had to do the other jobs the other few hours that playing music didn't cover. It was good to have the credits and working the long hours because Ren really had nothing better to do during his days other than to work.
So he was coming out of the back room, cleaning off his hands from the grease and oil and blinked when he saw red hair walk by. "Wasn't sure if you were coming or not."
Lily glanced over her shoulder and paused, seeing the boy she'd been talking to over the network. Offering up an easy smile, she switched directions, sliding into a chair at the bar.
"To be honest, neither was I," she said lightly. "But work let me off early, and it was this or hosting a one woman protest outside of the Jedi Order. Three guesses as to which was marginally less embarrassing, and the first two don't count."
Ren gave her a small grin in return and leaned over the bar table, "I'm sure it would have brightened their days a little bit to see that. Jedi's could use a laugh now and then between the training."
Straightening up, Ren glanced around the bar table. "You want a drink? On the house of course."
"Hmm." Lily tilted her head to one side, still smile. "I'm not sure whether to be complimented at you thinking I'd brighten their day, or insulted that you think they'd laugh at me." And then she sighed - albeit slightly dramatically. What, a girl wasn't allowed to have fun? "Although the latter is sadly likely right now."
She raised an eyebrow, sitting back slightly. "Considering the discussion we had over the network, I believe that depends entirely on whether or not you would be making it for me."
