[Spike drums his fingers impatiently against the handle of his lightsaber. Considering he defected to the Jedi and the Republic, he's doubting the Sith they go up against will be happy to see him. He doesn't mind, though, it'll just make the fight more interesting.
He's ready. He may be a good guy, but he'll always crave violence and bloodshed deep inside. He grins sharply, and though his fangs are still hidden, there are a lot of teeth showing. This should be fun.]
[Catty's quiet for the moment, not out of fear or anxiety, but concentration. She stares at the ground, reaching out with her mind towards the Sith on the ship, careful to avoid everyone else on her team, although she's already been around Malik's mind.] They're pretty relaxed for being at war.
[She smirks a bit, although she feels uncertain about her sudden desire to fight. To kill.] It's too bad Resmi isn't here.
[ Haymitch eyes both his little nutjobs. He's seen that look of bloodlust before, more times than he'd care to count.
he turns back to the console. Anyone at first glance would think he was getting ready to take a nap- feet kicked up on control toggles, hands folded over his stomach.
Lightsaber dangling from his belt.
He sighs, watching ]
They're relaxed for a reason.
[ he side eyes them both again ]
The Jedi want the general on The Corsair taken in for questioning. The Republic wants him dead.
[ he yawns ]
Personally, I'm all for waiting and seeing who kills who first.
[ Surprise! We're starting just as they get on board. Right now they're hidden behind some shipping containers in the loading bay, watching security. ]
We'll be able to get by easier in smaller groups. Charles, if we separate, what's the range on your ... brain talk-y thingy?
[Pressed against the edge of a container, Charles was currently keeping his mind to himself but poised to veil them if any of the security forces cottoned on to their presence.
At Buffy's question, he lifted an eyebrow thoughtfully.]
Easily within the scope of this vessel. Beyond it to the other ships in this quadrant, so long as they are dropped out of hyperspace.
[It was awkward, giving such specifications when he was used to keeping his abilities to himself but in this situation, he figured that Buffy, Lois and River needed to know.]
Good. [ She pulls her vibroaxe off her back, holding it with both hands. ] Take River and head up the west hall of the ship. You'll need her with you if you run into trouble.
[ She glances to River. ] Damage the ship all you want, but I want to avoid human fatalities here until we get to our guys. Clear?
[ To Lois, she adds; ] You're with me. We'll take the east hall. That way, one of us is bound to make it to the bridge, even if the others get stopped up by a nasty detour.
All right. [Kaidan surveys his team; none of them look incapable, at the very least, but he has suspicions about the Republic's motives here. Throwing a bunch of people who've barely or never spoken together onto a strike team and sending them into enemy territory is a quick way of getting those people dead. He keeps his suspicions to himself, though, not wanting to distract these men or throw them off from the task at hand] My name's Kaidan Alenko. I know rank doesn't carry in this place, but I am a military Commander back in my home world with twelve years experience in a navy similar to this one, so hopefully when I say I knoww what I'm doing, you won't think I'm talking out of my ass. [The flicker of a grin before he gets srsface again]So, first things first, I need to know your abilities and what sort experience you have in this sort of situation. Now's not the time to pander to your ego and talk yourself up here; we're outnumbered and if someone unprepared is in the wrong position, we're all going to end up going under. I'm a
( ... )
It's sort of like a get to know exercise. [Surprising everyone Anders is obnoxious. He grins at the group, waving his hand amiably.] Name's Anders, and I have experience- well, killing Darkspawn and several doing several other things I won't mention. I can throw very big fireballs at very stupid people.
[He shrugs] Healing is what I do best, so preferably I'd like to keep it that way.
[ Here's Jack off in her own little corner of the squad, or possibly more on Shepard's side of however the group is situated. She doesn't know Anakin or Scott and she's not going to be trusting them to cover her ass. Shepard's a different story, though.
She's preoccupied with checking over her blaster, making sure everything looks all set and ready for Sith stomping.]
Point me in a direction and tell me what to wreck, Shepard.
[Shepard frowns slightly, looking over her group. She's not happy about being separated from the Normandy crew, not one bit. She knows her team, has fought with them, nearly died with them. She knows them in and out, and more importantly for situations like this, she's as familiar with their skills as she is with her own.
Tapping her blaster against her hip, she smirks at Jack before eyeing the two new additions.] First, we need to get a short record of their skills. I'm not going in blind.

What's the plan?
[ She looks towards Altair. Tonks can do illusions, clever illusions. She can even try to maks their appearance. ]

If we hurry, we may still have surprise on our side.
[If anyone scolds him for being too brash and not using enough strategy, it wouldn't be the first time.]

[ Cephiro actually sort of liked that plan. It sounded simple. Whether or not it would work very well was another question. ]
