Ah, but the question was "Can you find a way to learn what you need to know now, before you need it?" So I can Google that stuff now so I know it when/if the time comes. *g*
I feel more useful than I did now I've read that - I came off surprisingly well - although I think I need to work on re-getting over fear of heights (I conquered it to manageable proportions climbing up church towers on an interrailing trip when a student - I climbed every high thing I could find ... I discovered a few years ago in a glass fronted lift in Gateshead that I wasn't as over heights as I thought ...) and I don't have a herbal rememdies guide (and not absolutely convinced I wouldn't poison someone whilst trying to brew headache remedy from willow bark)
I have a good sleeping bag and carrymat - I'd take those - not a duvet ...
I'd also take my walking sandals ... at least once I've bought a new pair - as looking at them - they are bald on the bottom. Cool but protective (I'd wear my closed toe shoes)
