This is my favourite song in the whole entire world at the moment. It rocks my world. And yet - I've got no bloody idea what the song is about. Anyone want to enlighten me ( Read more... )

okay, I may be way way off here. But here is what this song brings to mind when I hear it. I think of the strict religious types who refuse to have any fun. They stay on the straight and narrow because they want to go to heaven.

I've got dues to pay

He says sheep go to heaven. I always think he means sheep as in the people who blindly follow a faith. They don't think for themselves. They believe the propoganda. They are sheep. Those who go against that would, I guess, be goats.

Like I said--I could be way off but that is just what I alwasy thought when listening to that song.

You know, that is the theory my Dad came up with. Except he said that the Sheep is a symbol of the Christian faith and the goat (or horned beast) is a pagan symbol and that is where the "Sheep go to heaven, Goats go to hell" line comes from.

Does this mean I have to tell him he's right?!?

It's Cake.
Cake is very cool. Lots of Trumpets, almost an alternative mariachi-jazz sound.
