I just was given the program for Vivo Divo - 2pm on the Friday before the concert.

Yay me. My l33t InDesign skillz will save the day again.

When they were deciding on a name for this event, I mentioned that "Vivo Divo" came very close to that Simon Cowell-produced trash popera group...I was the only one who'd ever heard of them.

Really? That's surprising. I believe at least one of them had a real opera career going before he joined up with them.

A music director I worked with was friends with him, and apparently he turned down his debut at the Met to work with this group. Apparently money triumphed over art, in this case (and the music director said, "When you turn down the Met, you don't get the offer again.")

Mmmmhmmm. Although CS3 gave me a hell of a time creating a booklet - not sure what's up with that.
