It appears I'm under qualified to take up bar work. I'd welcome any advice on how to solve this problem.

Yet there is no particular knowledge one must have for such a position. One needn't be well-read or anything of the sort.

I used to work at Fagan's. I might be able to give you a few pointers or something, if you wanted.
