I've started e-mailing my German exchange student and she's a bit of a ditz. XD Not in a bad way, though! And she does use icq, which is awesome. It seems that she REALLY wants to party in the USA. Also, she REALLY wants to meet you guys. We'll probably spend a lot of time downtown and maybe go to a Higher Ground concert. I've started writing

Our Lovely Germans

Have I mentioned how cool Anna is, on the subject of Germans?

We're going Contra-ing, she's done standard dance (actual ballroom lessons, as opposed to my little tango and dance-hall waltz), and while we were talking about music, she admitted that she really loves West Side Story and wants to hear The Lion King (so I sent her the files).

Also, remember the German band I'm obsessed with, Die Aertze?

She loves him/them to (Farin Umlaub is the most gorgeous man alive).

Oh, and her English is beyond perfect. Probably better than my English, and she uses the English spellings as opposed to American ones.

Really? 'Cause Lisa's English sucks. XD She actually used "Yes, I become your letter." I only e-mailed her yesterday, so we've yet to get past the whole "what's your hobby" thing. She horseback rides and plays handball. Also parties. A lot. So far, we're complete opposites. ^^;;; I'm a little worried.

I'm sure you'll love her. Or, you'll end up trading with someone. Or your exchange will end up like Kitty's exchange and leave, and you won't have to worry about hostessing at all, while still getting to go to Germany--
