Trick? There was no trick. [ Now she turns to her roommate, arms still crossed, faintly smiling. One could even argue she looks pleasant, if she didn't radiate an atmosphere of 'snarky witch: beware.' ]
If we are to be living together, it is not so unreasonable to expect some courtesy from the other.
