I think this is the first fic I've read dealing with Snape's death that rings true for me...Really, really lovely. This bit almost broke me:

"Did you come on your own, or were you sent?" A breath.

"Neither. You dreamed me here."

"Is that how this place works?"

"Isn't that how it always has?"

Very lovely. This kind of afterlife for Snape seems true to the HP universe as well as suiting for him.

I especially liked the part with the duck eggs.

This was interesting, innovative and well written. I really enjoyed it.
