This month's Something New had to be my new job. I'm now working for a Community Interest Company, which means instead of doing everything to make a profit we're working to help other people. Which, after 2.5 years in the telecoms industry is wonderful ( Read more... )

It is lovely down there - I haven't been down there for a couple of days - it's cooler in the office at lunchtime.

And thank you - it's so nice to be doing something which is both interesting and of value.

I'm glad the new job has been going so well, even in terms of the commute (and what you can accomplish by leaving 10 minutes early). It's great that your tasks are varied and you get to do so many different things.

The Stroudwater Canal looks beautiful. I hope you have some lovely lunchtime walks along it. :-)

Thank you. Today was frantic, for the first time I was trying to juggle several different streams of my work (which I do realise is a mixed metaphor) but that's fine - I'll get there.
