So, I'm pretty bored with everything as of late. I dunno what the deal is, but it feels like there just isn't anything to do anymore.

And it kinda sucks a lot.

For as little detail as there is about the next Batman movie, 'The Dark Knight', I'm pretty psyched for it.

EDIT: Found a neat little message in the text. If you get rid of all the "HA"s, it leaves a few letters behind. They spell out, "see YOu In DECeMbER".

I went and caught a late showing of 28 Weeks Later tonight, and while it wasn't absolutely amazing, it wasn't absolutely disappointing either. The movie started with a bang, then kinda lost a bit of momentum...but it delivered some good scares, and some absolutely brutal twists and deaths. Just got back from the theatres. This time I went and saw Hot Fuzz. Definitely a great follow-up to Shaun of the Dead. It was a lot smarter of a movie, but didn't skimp on the violence! Hilarious quips and sweet action a-plenty!

Bright Eyes' new album, Cassadaga, is pretty good! I really enjoy it. It's reminds me of the album I'm Wide Awake It's Morning...which is a very good thing (I like folk-y music).

I just got back from sitting in a theatre for 3.5 hours...watching Grindhouse. I kinda went in blind on this one. I had seen trailers and read up a bit about it, but I still had no idea what to think of the idea. I was pleasantly surprised, though. The movie was everything that it promised to be too: Bloody, campy, and entertaining.

Abby and I went to see Explosions in the Sky at St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit today. It was a great show. The warm-up bands were Eluvium (which was fucking amazing) and The Paper Chase (which wasn't so hot).

The concert itself was a lot of fun. Getting there was quite the experience (we got pretty lost), and Explosions in the Sky were just as good as ( Read more... )

So, I guess there's some skybridge that goes over the edge of the Grand Canyon in the shape of a "U." It goes a bit off the edge, then curves back around and back to land.
