Well, Super-Explosive Demon Story was commercially translated (except the final volume), as was Slayers Premium and a lot of the Lina 'n Naga titles. However, they are out of print.
It looks like Amazon and Barnes and Noble has a few copies in their 'other sellers'/'used' links, but that will be hit and miss. eBay also appears to have print copies of many titles.
Ach! How dare they be out of print! I have spotted a few littered about the net like that, but I lived in hope of some magical store that stocked them, preferably run by a strange old man with a wandering eye and a disturbing laugh. I havent seen an english on ebay, but then I dun look every day. I'll have to step up the trawling and get ready to crash tackle folk at auctions.
I also recommend checking out alibris.com. There a handy used book website (functions like amazon's used/new sellers: they're basically a middleman for other book sellers). A cursory search indicates they have used copies of them. The pricing seems kind of absurd though.
If you live in any of the states with a Half Price Books, http://www.halfpricebooks.com/find_a_store.html I found most of them just sitting around in the manga sections. In fact, It looks like they purchased some of the volumes in one of the stores by me, because I found a good ten or so copies of one of them (Not sure which, think it was six.)
I don't sadly. The anime was only even available in Australia on DVD in the last few years, the mangas practically nonexistent by relation.
I am envious. I could try and get people to pick it up for me. I dun know anyone there who knows what it is and might recognize it though, but worth a try. Thanks for the heads up.
I'm editing the tags on this post to get rid of the downloads link. The copyrights of these properties is still in question, so just want to make sure the post complies with community rules. Good luck with your search! If you know some folks you trust in the U.S., see if they can look out at used bookstores for you.
