Time: Straight after Wolf joins the ship. Not quite lunchtime.

Wolf whistled merrily as he strode down the hallway, then smiled and breathed in the fragrant air as he neared the kitchen. Popping his head in through the door, he frowned and gasp at the sight before him.

"Oh goodness me! It looks like you could use some help. Here, allow me." Rushing in to assist, Wolf turned down the burners on the stove to keep the potatoes from boiling over, then put them aside to let them cool.

Then, turning to the girl he furrowed his brows in genuine concern and gestured to the oven. "If there's anything I can do to assist..."

Surprised by the sound of Wolf entering, Tohru pulled her head out of the oven with a squeak. "Oh! Thankyou so much!" she said as he rescued the potatoes.
She took another look at him, realizing she didn't recognise him at all. Was he new? Well, this was a great first impression he was getting, wasn't it? "I'm, uh...not usually this useless?" she offered, awkwardly.
Wolf's offer of assistance was very pleasant, and she would have appreciated his longer arms, but she couldn't ask a guest to help..."No, no, it's fine!" she insisted, waving her hands in front of her for emphasis. "I'm sure I can get it if I stretch a bit further. It's my job, I wouldn't want to put you out, Mister...um, what's your name? I haven't seen you before, have I?"

"Wolf," he replied with a charming smile and a small bow. "I do believe we met through my journal, as the only cook I haven't spoken to yet is a fellow."

"So uh... as it seems it's now my job as well how about I get the oven lit and do the sausages while you take care of the rest, yes? After all, meat is my specialty." He'd been eying those sausages ever since he walked into the room.

"Oh, nice to meet you porperly, Mr Wolf!" Tohru said, smiling and blushing again at the manner of his greeting.

"Uh...okay, if you don't mind..." Tohru gratefully handed the box of matches to Wolf and fished a vegetable knife out of a drawer for herself.

Setting to work slicing carrots, she was quiet for a minute before attempting to make conversation. "So, Mr Wolf, how are you finding the Way so far?"
