Unfortunately, that cockpit was where Reno had hidden himself away, wanting some peace away from anyone who'd wonder why his face was pretty badly bruised.

He couldn't say he was too unhappy to see the woman, though he'd've been happier if it had been Anko.

"Who the hell are you?" he asked, hiding his beer bottle from sight (he wasn't sharing this time).

"Oh!" Startled at the unexpected face, Akima nearly lost her footing but managed to find a handhold, her heart racing.

"I-uh... I'm sorry. I guess I just wanted to know who you pissed off so I can make a mental note to avoid them." She cringed at the sight of his bruises. "I'm Akima, the new helmsman. I hope it's okay that I'm down here. No one said it was off-limits."

Raising an eyebrow at his extremely unsubtle eyeing, Akima waved a hand in dismissal and jumped down from the craft. "Well, I doubt your reason for being here is more legitimate than mine. I'm genuinely interested in these planes."

With her hands on her hips, she turned to look up in the general direction of the cockpit. "I don't suppose you'd know much about them."
