Characters: Yamamoto Takeshi and Sawada Tsunayoshi Content: Yamamoto and Tsuna hang out after not having seen eachother for some time Setting: Valhalla Time: 6pm-ish Warnings: None!
Tsuna had been watching for the message obsessively ever since he and Yamamoto had arranged the movie idea. He hurried with all his chores, and with an actual determination, finished them with little screw up or flaw. Some of the other crew members eyed him funny, but whatever.
As soon as he was done and he got the message, Tsuna was off the ship like a bat out of hell. He'd missed Yamamoto dearly, and his god awful time on the ship had made it that much worse.
Stupid Reborn, stupid Vongola mafia.
Surprisingly, Tsuna found the theater without getting lost and spotted his friend waiting.
Yamamoto's smile only got bigger when he heard his friend's voice. With a laugh he waved to Tsuna and turned his body to face him. Once he was near enough his hand went back to side but the smile stayed large.
"Ha ha! You're looking well." Sort of. Tsuna looked very rushed, but that wasn't too new for the other boy. "Glad you didn't get lost! I walked by this place 4 times before I found it."
Tsuna finally caught up with his friend and in the process of catching his breath, answered him. "Oh, I-" a breath. "Guess I-" another. "Got lucky."
And he did! He was honestly surprised himself that he didn't get lost at least twice as many as Yamamoto claimed to have. Maybe today was just going to be his day! After all those years of rotten luck, he could have that right?
"So, what are we going to go see?" He was curious about the movies of this place, himself. Thanks to all the work that Xanxus had him doing, he hadn't much of a chance to look into life outside the islands.
There was such a smile on his face right then, though. He really was glad to see his friend. It didn't matter at all right then that he was stuck as a rogue pirate and Yamamoto was in the BAF. It didn't matter all the shit he'd put up with since leaving the island.
At Tsuna's question he laughed a little and moved over to the boy's side. In a moment he was leaning on the other boy's shoulder as he was accustomed to, his free arm raised up to point at the big marquee that listed the available movies.
"We're going to try the first one. There was a review on the network that said it was very good." Well, he thought it did. The review had been in Britannian and Yamamoto had been determined to read it through as practice for his studies. However, the most he'd gotten out of it was a few snide remarks and the fact that the movie had been all right.
4 out of 5 stars was good, right? It didn't matter that he had no idea what it was about. "I guess we'll see though, hm?" His grin stayed put as he looked down at Tsuna. Really it didn't matter.
That felt good and familiar, to h ave his arm draped on his shoulder like that. He looked up to where Yamamoto was pointing and eyed the listings. If Yamamoto's Britannian was bad, Tsuna's was even worse. Then again, he really didn't care what they went to see.
Tsuna just wanted to be around his friend. "Sounds good to me!" He said in response to him, before starting to head to the theater.
Yamamoto had pushed off of Tsuna so the boy could start inside, and he followed along.
Once inside, he was a bit surprised by how the theater looked. It was large and a little bit ornate that gave off a more elegant vibe than you'd expect from a place where acne-ridden teenagers ran the show.
Still, he walked up to the counter and 16 credits later he had the tickets in hand. Yamamoto handed over one of them to Tsuna with a grin. "We're in theater 2. You want anything to eat?" He asked with a small gesture to the concessions stand.
Yamamoto pondered eating something himself. It wasn't like he was eating much on the Goliath these days.
Tsuna stared at the interior a little more than was deemed acceptable. A few people entering the theater had bumped into him and shoved him to the side a bit. He snapped out of it and joined Yamamoto as he pointed over to the concessions.
He really hadn't eaten all day. Not that he didn't want to, the ships cook was surprisingly good at what they did, it's just he was so occupied earlier with getting everything done to meet up with Yamamoto. "Ah, sure!"
Tsuna turned to dig around in his pockets but looked up when it occurred to him that Britannia didn't take Tortugan money, which was all Xanxus paid him with.
He sighed. Dammit, he didn't want Yamamoto paying for everything. "I mean, I'm good. I don't need anything."
He laughed at Tsuna's sudden change in opinion and shook his head, amused. "What do you want? I'm the guy with the big government paycheck, after all. You can buy next time."
A bit of a lie. Yamamoto got paid a ridiculously low wage being a nurse-in-training and he was running low on funds, but it wouldn't be a problem. After this there was nothing he could foresee spending his money on, and he was due to get paid again in a few days anyway.
"Y-you really don't have to Yamamoto..." He tried to protest, but he knew he probably wasn't going to change his friends mind.
He sighed a little and glanced at the food. Huh. What the hell was all of this anyways. Hm. "Ah, You can order for me. I don't know what any ...of this ...is."
He trusted him enough to find something good anyways.
Yamamoto didn't bother to reply to the boy again, since it seemed he got the message that he was not going to get to the movie without a snack in hand.
"All right! I'll just order some of what I've heard crew members talk about.. Britannian candy is new to me too." He stated with a laugh as he looked up at the descriptions and names, all in Britannian. Perhaps they should have gone to a theater that used more of the common language..
Nevertheless, Yamamoto went to the counter and ordered a few things with a little bit of fumbling. His smile seemed to earn him some points from the staff, and he did manage to get a few strange treats on sticks [they were in the shape of alligators!], a box of something that looked like chocolate-covered-nuts, some gummy-airships, and a bag of candy that looked like crystals with many dull spikes poking out and in a variety of colors.
Big grin on his face, Yamamoto returned and handed over some of the candy. "I guess we can just share and try it all huh? It all looks good though!"

Right now, he was going to enjoy himself.

Thankfully the Captain didn't charge rent.
