RESCUE LOG NUMERO TRES [open!]

Content: Time to rescue the prisoner!
Setting: The eastern foothills of the Badlands mountains.
Time: after Bumblebee's post and Prime's post.
Notes: The first thread will be for the rescue of the prisoner. After that, feel free to start your own threads if you want to take on a satyr. There are seven total --

Teaming up with Oichi! We would like a Satyr, please~!

Kuro was too small to be any help with getting the captive out of the area, so when signal for attack came, Kuro did what he did best.

He jumped onto the rock he had been hiding behind until just now and opened fire, not really aiming for anything in general, trying more to create a distraction for the rescuers.

Oichi's eyes widened as she put the fingertips of her hands together, completely unfazed by the satyr's nearly severed arm "Wah, Mister Cat is really strong..."

The black hands hovered but didn't move, because they knew Oichi was interested in seeing what Kuro did next.

Not as good as he'd hoped...but close enough.

"Of course I am..." He jumped to avoid the attack while replying to Oichi, "...that's because..." Then he brought his sword in another swing, this time aiming for the satyr's neck, "I'm the invincible Kuro!"

The satyr, blinded by rage and handicapped by pain, wasn't able to dodge completely. Though it avoided complete decapitation, the blade did slice through the front of its throat.

It stopped to clutch at the bleeding gash, making a sick gurgling noise. It sounded like the satyr was trying to say something, but the words wouldn't come out. Instead, it made one last lunge at Kuro, bleeding and snarling incoherently.

Oichi clapped her hands together, with a look of wonderment "Mister Cat is really-"

And then she was interrupted by the satyr's gurgling. She frowned and both black hands suddenly shot towards the satyr smacking it into the ground with bone-crushing force.

"...Interrupting is really impolite, Mister Horse."

Kuro had half-forgotten about those hands. So when they suddenly moved he jumped in surprise.

He stared for a short moment before walking over to where the hands tried to pin the satyr. Kuro wouldn't be surprised if that had killed the satyr, but if it didn't, then the clockwork cat would put it out of its misery.

The satyr twitched a few times, then was still. A final breath escaped its lungs. The corpse smelled terrible, as if it was already rotting.

Oichi crouched down to look at the corpse, the hands still pinning it down. The smell not really bothering her in the slightest, she turned to look at Kuro, "Mister Cat...what do we do now...?"

She wasn't specifically referring to the dead satyr, because she was fairly certain it was dead. It wasn't interrupting anymore.

Kuro's free paw came up and pinched his nose in an attempt to block out the smell as he backed away from the corpse. Yeah, definitely dead...and when he got home, he was going to kick Gou for not building him with an off switch for his sense of smell.

"You can probably let him go now." He told her, except it came out sounding a little strange because he was still holding his nose.
